BRIEF INFORMATION
D’Belimbing Homestay one of the homestay
that themed based on Malay Village which located at Kula Nerang, Kedah. Although
this homestay is Malay village themed but this homestay has lot of unique
attractions, have modern facilities, and have nice location or view which it
Kedah really famous with their beautiful ‘paddy field’. D’Belimbing Homestay is
located at 27, Felcra Belimbing Tolak, Kuala Nerang, Kedah Darul Aman.
For the detailed of location it stated at 43km from city of Alor Setar or 12km from the town of Kuala Nerang. The special about this homestay, it located at very strategic place which is near with Puncak Janing Waterfall and Recreational Park. Next, it is very easy to find because it is located close to the city and have lot of facilities.
D’Belimbing Homestay has been developed and registered under Ministry of Tourism since November 10th 2008 and Federal and Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (FELCRA). The owner and also the manager of this homestay are En. Johari Bin Ismail.
FACILITIES PROVIDED
With the tagline ‘Inap Desa Mesra Serasi’ means the visitor or guest with the owner of the homestay will stay together in same house or it can be separate with different house but with same area. Then, the owner of D’Belimbing Homestay provided lot of facilities for their guest and all this facilities very comfortable such as bathroom, WIFI, television, living room, kitchen, bedroom, hostel, and hall for holding seminars.

What activity can do at D’Belimbing Homestay:
v Picnic at Puncak Janing
Waterfall and recreational park.
· Puncak Janing is Waterfal located at Perangin
Hill Forest Reserve come with beautiful waterfall, flora and fauna. It is very
suitable place to picnic with family and have lot of activity that can be
explored. Only take 1 hours 18 minutes from D’Belimbing Homestay to Puncak Janing Waterfall.
v Visit to rubber
plantation and oil palm plantation.
· If want some new
experience when stay at this homestay and at village, the guest can feel the
experience of yourself to seeing how the process to produce a product from
rubber.
v Visit center of
‘MADU LEBAH TUALANG’.
· This experience
only have on this homestay which not everyone has the opportunity to see and
feel this experience. If the guest is lucky, they can see the process of
‘Madu Lebah Tualang’ taken from the
beehive.
v Visit to Pedu Lake.
· Pedu Lake is very famous attractions place if want go to Kedah. Only take 1 hours 36 minutes from Homestay to Pedu Lake. Also have many activity can do such as fishing, picnic with family, take a picture and so on.
v Visit to farm ‘KELAPA PANDAN’.
· Can see for yourself how the process of ‘kelapa Pandan’ made or the products that can be produced by this coconut. The journey to go to that farm only 44 minutes from D’Belimbing Homestay.
UNIQUE PRODUCT
Unique product from this homestay:
1) Making traditional delicacies.
For the traditional desserts, the visitors or guests can learn how to make a “Dodol”, ‘Denderam’ and other delicacy. For the detailed ‘Dodol’ is sticky Toffee like food delicacy meanwhile ‘Denderam’ it made from rice flour and brown sugar for the main ingredient.
2) Make a brooms.
The guest who lives in this Homestay can feel
experience to make a broom from ‘Riong’ seeds. The guest also can take home
this broom as a gift. All this product and experience only has at this homestay

Nerang, Kedah Darul Aman.
CULTURE ACTIVITY
All the culture and traditional activity also provided in this package. Those activities that provide are ‘Sepak Raga’, ‘Gasing’, ‘Congkak Biji Getah’, ‘Kompang’, ‘Tarian Melayu Asli’.
